With the Queen's Birthday Honours List of 2017 came the announcement that Dr Khouri would be made an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to odontology.

This honour reflects Zaf's dedication to the field over many years, and is well-deserved indeed. Zaf is a founding member of the NZSFO, and an internationally respected odontologist.
